PERSONAL BIO
A Brave Thought is the definition of my name in Farsi: Andisheh Shojaee.
But I’m known as Sheh.
My goal of becoming a transformative leader came from a deep-rooted understanding of the importance of representation. I was inspired very young to have a voice and “be the change” I wished to see in the world, so I embarked on a journey to elevate myself first and strategically navigated my career for growth and impact.
Truth is, I’ve achieved more than I thought I would, quicker than I thought I could, and I’m determined to pay all my blessings forward. I’ve made my brilliant and resilient immigrant parents proud and the rest of my life, is about building a legacy that makes ME incredibly proud.
I feel privileged to use my voice as an instrument for good by advocating for others at boardroom tables and on real and virtual stages. I’m a fierce champion for heart-centered inclusive leadership, gender parity, destigmatizing mental health, and protecting people and the planet.
If you’ve been in my orbit, you know my goal is to leave people and places better than I find them. I’m a passionate volunteer and advisor in my community for causes close to my heart and a boost to as many people as possible. I give however I can because I remember what it’s like to not have much, including hope.
A proud 2nd generation Canadian-Persian and Francophone, I was born in Montreal and grew up in Vancouver. My love for the stage started young as a music, dance and theatre fanatic and my confidence grew in speech competitions as a teen. I love traveling the globe but I’m fortunate to call beautiful British Columbia, Canada my home. I’m grateful every day for the life I get to live surrounded by nature and the ocean with my wonderful husband.
