PROFESSIONAL BIO

Sheh Shojaee is the Founder and Chief Impact Officer of A Brave Thought (the definition of her name in Farsi), a boutique leadership, business, JEDIAB & ESG consultancy. She’s a workplace strategist, a business coach and engagement expert.

With a deep understanding of the challenges of developing a resilient workforce, Sheh’s leadership philosophy is fostering a culture of empathy, and optimism while managing organizational shifts and leading transformational change through people. She went from strategic executive to coach to help people build a legacy they’re proud of and become the fearless influential leaders they need to be to impact people, organizations, and greater society.

Sheh holds both the US & Canadian HR designations and has over 20 years of HR & Operations experience in award-winning for profit and not-for-profit organizations, 15 of those in senior leadership roles, coaching at all levels of the organization. She earned a BA in Sociology from The University of British Columbia, an HR Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University, Micro-credentials in DEI and Influencing DEI from Canadian Centre for D&I, and Micro-credentials in ESG and Instructional Design & Facilitation from BC Institute of Technology. She has easily amassed thousands of professional development hours over her professional career and continues to as a forever learner and curious researcher.

Her philanthropic efforts include serving on MPA Society's Board of Directors, a member of Immigrant Employment Council-BC’s Advisory Group, and Co-Chair of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Scale-up Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Recognized as a Woman of Distinction by HR Director Canada in 2023 for her work in the HR field and in her community, Sheh has a deep desire to challenge the status quo, dismantle stigmas, and create a more equitable future for all. Sheh is also a warm and dynamic keynote speaker, helping audiences amplify their voice and feel empowered to embrace and impact change.
